Kenyan Premier League and National Super League clubs have been given eight days ultimatum by the Football Kenya Federation to comply with the minimum requirements of CAF club licensing or risk relegation to lower leagues.

FKF today (Thursday) morning urged clubs who are yet to comply to file their documents before Friday 16th ahead of CAF and FIFA deadline of December 31st.

Thus far, only three clubs have received certificates for minimum compliance, they are; Tusker FC, Ulinzi and Wazito FC. Twelve teams including giants Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards have submitted their papers and are awaiting certification if they pass the test.

Others are; Chemelil Sugar, Sony Sugar , Kakamega Homeboyz, Thika United, Posta Rangers (KPL), Palos FC, Kariobangi Sharks, Zoo Kericho and Nakumatt FC (NSL).

Clubs in the topflight who fail to comply will be relegated to the NSL while those in the latter will drop to the Division One.
