Zambia and Kenya have been draw together in Group E alongside Congo-Brazzaville and Guinea Bissau.

Owino, who joined the Zambian champions this year from Kenyan giants Gor Mahia, believes Kenya will hold their own against Zambia in the 2017 qualifiers.

“Zambia has been at the Africa Cup many times and they will come with a lot of confidence. We will be the underdogs but I know this is football anything can happen,” Owino said.

“I think the draws are fair and it is a matter of preparations. The draws are the best there is if we prepare well.

“Now that I am playing in Zambia ,I am learning things and will be  taking  them back to my team.”

Owino was  an instant hit at Zesco since his arrival in January scoring three goals in all competition for the 2014 FAZ Super Division champions.

Meanwhile, Zambia and Kenya will meet in the two sides second Group E match on September 6 in Nairobi.

They will later meet in their final Group E match a year later on September 3 in Lusaka.Kenya have not qualified to the Africa Cup since 2004.
