After being out of the pitch for a month, thanks to a hamstring injury, Kenyan international Striker Paul Mungai Kiongera is back after making a full recovery.
The striker was given a clean bill of health by the doctor, and has already started training with Simba Sc.
Kiongera took part in the team’s late 1-0 victory against Tanzania Police, after being introduced in the second half. However, the star was benched during last weekend’s 2-0 thumping of coastal union.
“am glad to be back to full fitness, am still trying to get more playing time as I get back to my form’Kiongera told Soka25east.com
As he takes time to get back on track, the former Gor Mahia and KCB forward will soon be thinking of his next move as his contract with Tanzanian outfit Simba Sc expires in three months’ time.
“Am still a Simba player, I still have three months left in my contract, and am intending to cross the bridge when I get there” Said Kiongera
“Whether I receive a new contact with Simba or move elsewhere will be communicated in due time” added Kiongera
Mungai was recalled by Simba Sc from a six months lone to his mother club Kenya Commercial Bank to replace Dan Sserunkuma who has since joined Bandari Fc.
