Mathare United 2-3 Kariobangi Sharks Kariobangi Sharks grabbed the Slum Derby bragging rights by edging Mathare United 3-2 in an entertaining match played at the MISC Kasarani.Sharks scored through last season’s MVP Erick Kapaito, new boy Julius Masaba who joined the team from NSL side Kibera BlackStars and Duke Abuya while Mathare scored through veteran Clifford Alwanga and youngster Cliff Nyakeya

3. Chemelil Sugar C 0-2 Gor Mahia Gor Mahia solidified their lead at the top with a comfortable 2-0 over Chemelil in Kisumu courtesy of goals from Kenneth Muguna and Samuel Onyango.
4. AFC Leopards 1-1 Zoo FCAFC Leopards once again dropped points in stoppage time as Zoo skipper Johnstone Ligare rose high to head in, cancelling Paul Were’s early goal as the team shared spoils at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
5. Sofapaka 2-0 Western Stima Sofapaka eased past Western 2-0 in an early kick-off match played at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos. Kepha Aswani opened the scoring and John Avire finished the job to ensure Batoto Ba Mungu grab the maximum points.
