Mt Kenya United and AFC Leopards were the only winners in Sunday action as they edged Zoo FC and Bandari in Kericho and Machakos respectively.
Zoo FC 2-3 Mt Kenya United
Mt Kenya United surprised Zoo FC at their own turf in Kericho by beating them 3-2. Brian Nyakan grabbed a brace with new signing Norman Werunga scoring the other while Zoo got theirs through Danson Chetambe and Derrick Anami.
AFC Leopards 2-1 Bandari
Ingwe resurgence continued with a well-deserved 2-1 win over Bandari in a match played at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
Vincent Oburu opened the scoring for AFC but Alex Orotamal returned to haunt Ingwe as he equalized for Bandari. Whyvonne Isuza won it for Ingwe with a perfect run and tap in from a Brian Marita cross.
Sofapaka 2-2 Mathare United
Braces from Umaru Kasumba and Cliff Nyakeya ensured Sofapaka and Mathare United share spoils in an early kick-off match at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
