Sony’s upsurge continued with a well deserved 2-1 0ver Mathare United at the Moi International Sports Center in Kasarani. Daniel Otieno opened the scoring in the 27th minute for Sony before Klinsman Omulanga restored parity four minutes later. Enock Agwanda sealed the win with a well-taken goal in the 34th minute.
AFC Leopards 1-1 Kakamega Homeboyz
AFC Leopards and Kakamega Homeboyz settled for a 1-1 draw in an entertaining match played at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
Whyvonne Isuza opened the scoring for AFC Leopards on the 8th minute, utilizing Boniface Mukhekhe’s cross to score past Kakamega Homeboyz’s custodian David Juma. Homeboyz restored parity minutes later with a powerful header that hit the post and ricocheted off Ingwe custodian Jarius Adira, his 12th goal of the season.
Sofapaka 0-0 Ulinzi Stars
In an early kick off in Machakos, Sofapaka and Ulinzi Stars played to a scoreless draw.
Chemelil Sugar FC 0-0 Posta Rangers
