League leaders Tusker were held to a scored draw by Sony Sugar, Bandari shredded by Ushuru to pieces to end a dismal run that cost Twahir Muhiddin his job, Ulinzi Stars edged Sofapaka as AFC Leopards’ misery continued in Thika in Saturday’s matches.

Home side Kakamega Homeboyz went ahead in the 15th minute through a headed goal by Andrew Murunga who had been handed a rare starting role.
Charles Momanyi doubled the hosts’ tally 13 minutes later to jolt the battling Muhoroni Youth.
Ochomo, recently called to the national team, showed why he had attracted the national selectors, stepping up to confidently score a penalty and raise his season plunder to 10 goals.
Thika United 2-1 AFC Leopards (Thika Stadium)
Struggling Ingwe surrenders a one goal lead to fall to the James Nandwa-coached Thika side.
Kepha Aswani struck in the 13th minute for his fifth goal of the season after some flowing on-touch football released Simon Abuko down the right wing who fed the charging Leopards’ hit man in the box.
This lead was however short lived, as Simon Mwanje levelled matters in the 22nd minute after he linked up well with Mwinyi Kibwana.
In the 70th minute, Eugene Mukangula said ‘thank you’ after Leopards’ defender Eugene Ambulwa failed to deal with a harmlessly looking high ball. All Mukangula had to do was control the ball and pick his spot at close range from the one-on-one situation with the goalkeeper.
Ushuru 0-4 Bandari (Kasarani Stadium)
Bandari, playing without Twahir Muhiddin who was sacked on Wednesday, exploded in Nairobi to break their eight-match winless streak.
Twenty-twelve Kenyan Premier League Player of the Year Dan Sserunkuma opened the scoring in the sixth minute to record his first goal of the season.
Anthony Kimani doubled the dockers’ scores in the 35th minute with a long range shot that ricocheted off the post before bouncing into the net.
Sserunkuma grabbed his second goal two minutes before the end of the first half after taking advantage of the shambolic defense of the taxmen.
Bandari completed their rout in the 57th minute through Edwin Lavatsa, who had threatened to score this afternoon, after he was put through by Sserunkuma.
City Stars 0-1 Posta Rangers (Nyayo Stadium)
Former Chemelil Sugar striker Georson Likonoh accounted for the all-important item heading in the ball after City Stars goalkeeper Ronnie Kagunzi had fumbled with it.
This was City’s seventh straight game without tasting victory while Rangers ended a two-match winless streak as they stayed in the running for top honours.
Mathare United 0-2 Gor Mahia (Nyayo Stadium)
Gor Mahia are surely back on track. They scored twice without conceding to snap Mathare’s seven-match unbeaten run will extending theirs to 11, and counting.
Gor’s Rwanda international Godfrey Walusimbi scored a spectacular opener in the 69th minute after shaking off the attention of Mathare defender David Mwangi.
K’Ogalo top scorer Rwandan Jacques Tuyisenge was expected to appear on the score sheet at some point, and he did, nodding home Eric Ouma’s cross late in the second half for his sixth goal of the season.
The surging K’Ogalo now move to second on the league table on 26 points, two behind leaders Tusker with one round of matches remaining before the end of the first leg.
