Seven matches were played on Sunday 7th April as curtains came down on Round 21 of the SportPesa Premier League with Nzoia Sugar FC registering the biggest win of the day by downing Mt Kenya United 6-1.

Mt Kenya’s poor form persisted as they lost 6-1 to visiting Nzoia Sugar FC at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos. Mt Kenya’s consolation goal was scored by Amani Kyata while Nzoia got theirs through Patrick Otieno, Dennis Wanjala, Hansel Ochieng, Jackson Dwang, Collins Wakhungu and Batts Awita.
Mt Kenya has now lost six matches on the trot and is at the bottom of the log with just 12 points from 21 matches.
Ulinzi Stars 0-1 AFC Leopards
A 48th-minute goal by Brian Marita was all AFC Leopards needed to beat a hard fighting Ulinzi Stars at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru.
Vihiga United 0-3 KCB FC
At the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega KCB overpowered Vihiga United 3-0 courtesy of goals by Ezekiel Odera, Simon Munala and Kennedy Owino.
Bandari 1-0 Kariobangi Sharks
At the Mbaraki Stadium in Mombasa, hosts Bandari FC beat visiting Kariobangi Sharks 1-0, Abdallah Hassan scoring the lone goal.
Zoo FC 0-2 Sofapaka
Sofapaka cut Gor Mahia’s lead at the top of the log to just four points after beating Zoo FC 2-0 at the Green Stadium in Kericho. Ugandan International Umaru Kasumba scored a brace to ensure Batoto Ba Mungu get the maximum points.
Kakamega Homeboyz 2-0 Chemelil Sugar FC
Evergreen Allan Wanga scored a brace as Kakamega Homeboyz 2-0 at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega.
Posta Rangers 1-2 Sony Sugar FC
At the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos, visiting Sony Sugar fought hard to edge Posta Rangers 2-1 with goals coming from Robert Achema and Ambrose Ayoyi. Posta’s only goal was scored by Francis Nambute.
