Kenya’s skipper Victor Wanyama who also doubles up as Tottenham Hotspur defensive midfielder has has thrown his weight behind Morocco 2026 World Cup bid alluding to the fact that they truly deserve to host the tournament.
Speaking exclusively to www.soka25east.com from his base in London after arriving back from Marrakech,Morocco where he was with Harambee Stars team mates for the FIFA Friendly week.
“Morocco have fantastic facilities one of the best if not the best in Africa.Africa deserves another World Cup and I want to wish Morocco all the best as we are all praying they succeed with the bid as its not only a Moroccan bid but an African bid. I fully support the Morocco 2026 bid ”

Kenya set base in Marrakech where they played Comoros with Wanyama scoring both goals but he missed the friendly against Central Africa Republic(CAR).
Morocco has had four failed attempts to host the global fiesta in 1994, 1998, 2006 and 2010.Morocco rival a joint bid from Canada, Mexico, and the United States to become the second African nation to stage the quadrennial event on African soil.
The hosting decision for the 2026 World Cup will be made by all of FIFA’s 211 member associations before this summer’s tournament in Russia, at the annual congress in Moscow on June 13 2018
