By Johnson Mimba,
Tanzanian giants Simba have acquired the services of Kenyan lethal striker Paul Mungai Kiongera to help them in their quest for the 2014/2015 season.
Coach Zdravko Logarusic who was his coach at Gor Mahia signed the skilled striker with a hope of improving his striking department ahead of the new season in a two year contract that is yet to be finalised as he awaits final approval from his Kenyan club KCB who will be hoping to cash on the move before releasing the player officially to Simba.
Kiongera travelled to Dar Es Salaam over the weekend to discuss his move and according to sources KCB who signed him for six months have no qualms with him moving to greener pastures in the Vodacom Tanzanian league where he will join fellow compatriot at Gor Mahia Donald Mosoti who is also the team captain.
Tanzania has been home to many Kenyan footballers who have made a name playing for the top teams Simba,Yanga and Azam .
