Kenya’s foreign based stars and how their clubs performed

The Kenyan international and former Tusker defender scored his first goal for the Saudi Arabia side Al Taawon in the 70th minute in a league match played on Monday 27th , they however lost the match 4-3 against Al Ittihad. Al Taawon is currently placed 8th in the league.

The FK Tirana forward scored a goal late in the 88th minute on Sunday 26th against Laci to keep second spot, three points behind Albanian league leaders Skenderbeu Korce. The former Thika United man has had a good season and he hopes to help his side win the league, “I hope to continue working to impress so that I can help the team even more towards winning the title this season.” He told Panorama Sports.

The Sudan based El Merreikh striker clocked 70 minutes as his side beats Al Nsoor 3-0 on Wednesday 22 to maintain top spot with 23 points, one point above Champoins Al Hilal Omdurman.

The former Gor Mahia midfielder featured fully as his side Al Khartoum beat Al Hilal Kadougli 2-0 on Thursday 23rd. The Kwesi Appiah coached outfit is third in the Sudan top league with 21 points from 12 games.

David “Calabar” Owino

The Kenyan international defender also featured fully as Zesco United beat Red Arrows FC 3-2 to extend unbeaten run to 4 matches, Mwanza, Kalengo and Maseneko scored for Zesco while Musonda and Mbewe scored for the Arrows. Zesco is currently 3rd in Zambian Super League table with 10 points.

Victor Wanyama

The Southarmton FC midfielder and Kenyan Harambee stars skipper did not feature in the 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hot Spurs on Saturday 25 due to suspension, the Saints are 7th in the EPL log.

Arnold Origi

Amazulu are rooted in the danger zone in the South African league PSL and are strong candidates for relegation this season.

Pinchez” clocked 90 minutes as his side FF Jaro settled for 1-1 draw against IFK Mariehamn in the Finish top tier league VEIKKAUSLIIGA, the match was played on Sunday April 12, 2015. Jaro is winless after 2 matches and are 9th in the 12 team’s league.

Santos FC lost 2-1 to Witbank Stars in the South African National First Division match on Saturday April 18, 2015 and are currently 9th in the league with 35 points, 18 points behind leaders Golden Arrows after 27 matches. The former Tusker FC defender featured fully in the match.
