Gor edged Ulinzi Stars 1-0 at waterlogged Kericho Green Stadium on Saturday to bag the record 16th title with four games to spare.
Ugandan-born Meddie Kagere netted the lone goal in the 14th.
Kenyatta’s opponent in next week’s fresh presidential election Dr. Ekuru Aukot has also sent a congratulatory message to the most decorated club in Kenya.

K’Ogalo as Gor Mahia are popularly known will represent the country in the 2018 African Champions League.
Head coach Dylan Kerr said after the game that he is already plotting for the continental outing.
“I have already started planning for the Champions League next year, the management knows about it and they are supportive,” Kerr, who succeeded Brazilian Ze Maria in June this year, said.
Since bagging their only continental title, the Mandela Cup in 1987, Gor have lost they shine in Africa and have lately failed to reach groups stages of CAF competitions.
