Kenya Women’s Premier League (KWPL) kick off date, earlier scheduled for February 22 has been pushed forward by a week to February 29 in order to pave way for a pre season meeting between clubs and managers.
A source revealed the developments to soka25east.
“Yes it’s the women’s league schedule has been interrupted to give ample time for teams to conduct their pre-season training so that we can have a more competitive league after good preparations ” the source who sort anonymity told www.soka25east.com
Eight league matches had been scheduled for the opening weekend with the top four prepared to lock horns. However, that will have to wait after the delay.
