Kisumu Hotstars formerly Field Negros received a reality check going down 2-3 at the hands of Migori County’s Isebania in a match played at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu.
After a balanced first half with no goals the visitors came back strongly raiding the HotStars defence. Their resilience paid off when they got their first goal courtesy of Felix Okiki followed by a quick second one by Justine Omari.Babu Mateche scored the third for a 3-0 scoreline. The hosts began to push forward for a consolation and scored five minutes later before scoring the second through a well taken penalty.
Isebania FC who features former Sony Sugar striker Marwa Chamberi are undefeated in the third tier and next welcome Bondo United. They have so far won three matches and drawn one. They beat Transfoc 1-0 at home before holding Usain Gishu County FC 2-2 away. They then followed by a 2-1 win over Tim sales.
