Ulinzi Stars and Gor Mahia fired blanks in their midweek league fixture at Nakuru’s Afraha Stadium on Thursday 3.
Ulinzi are now sixth on the league table with five points while Gor Mahia climbs to 11th with three points.
The outcome is more worrying for 2015 champions Gor Mahia who are yet to win a single match out of the three played thus far.
Of even serious concern for the Frank Nuttall’s charges is the fact that they are finding it extremely difficult to find the back of the next. This is a sharp contrast of a team that literally walked over teams on their path to the 15th crown last season; the team avaraged two goals per game then.
The next assignment for K’Ogalo will be a date with the in laws, as they host sworn rivals AFC Leopards on Sunday in the Mashemeji Derby at Kasarani. Ingwe have had a better start to the season winning twice and drawing once; they lie joint top of the log with Mathare United on seven points.
Gor remains unbeaten in the league in 35 matches now.
