A section of Kumasi Asante Kotoko fans are calling for coach Zdravco Logarusic’s sacking after a three-match winless streak in the Ghana Premier League.

The enraged fans stormed the team’s training ground at Adako Jachie locking out the Croat, who joined the club in January on a two-year deal.

Logarusic, who watched the drama unfold from his car, sped off after thirty minutes waiting.

After a bright start to the current season, the Porcupines have experienced a rough patch – going three matches without a win.

The team lost 1-0 to their arch rivals Heart of Oak in the Ghana Derby last month, a result the fans found a bitter pill to swallow.

The fans blame Loga’s 3-5-2 formation which they say is overly defensive for the poor run.

Kotoko captain Amos Frimpog told Hero Sports Ghana: “I’m not happy with our supporters. These things don’t bring success because the coach is doing his best for the club.

“We hope to return to winning ways very soon so I will plead that they should not storm the training ground again and allow the coach to work.”

Kotoko host Ebusua Dwarfs in their next league outing on Sunday.

The team in placed third in the table standings with 14 points – two points behind leaders Wafa.
