Unsettled AFC Leopards head coach Zdravko Logarusic has expressed interest in joining Nigeria champions Kano Pillars in the same capacity. The job fell vacant after Pillars parted ways with Okey Emordi.
“Loga” who has been staging sit-ins demanding unpaid salaries and allowances amounting to millions of Kenyan shillings from the Kenyan Premier League giants talked to Felele247.com on his desire.
“It will be a privilege if the new management of Kano Pillars give me the opportunity to coach the defending champions Kano Pillars.” He said.
Loga failed to travel to Awendo for a league match against Sony Sugar FC today fueling rumors that he could be heading out of the club he has so far managed to turnaround after mass exodus of players in the June transfer window.
The team is already in Awendo and will take on the hosts from 3PM under instructions of deputy coach Yusuf Chipo.
The journey man from Croatia joined the 13-time KPL champions at the beginning of this season from Tanzania side Simba SC.
