Kariobangi Sharks were held to a 2-2 draw by visiting Chemelil Sugar in their KPL match played at the Kasarani stadium on Saturday 14 October.
Chemelil Sugar dominated the first half and were rewarded when Jafari Odeny and Collins Neto scored in the 37th and 40th minute respectively. Kariobangi Sharks also had their chances but failed to score with Ovella’s shot outside the box in the half hour mark hitting the goal post. The match went into a break with the sugarbelt team leading 2-0.
Kariobangi Sharks then made changes in the second half which saw them come from two goals down to restore parity when striker Masoud made a brace in the 71st amd 80th minute to share the spoils with Chemelil.
Other Matches
In other matches played on Saturday, Gor Mahia were beaten 1-0 by Mathare at Thika sub-county stadium; the score coming from Crispin Oduor.
Sofapaka also registered a win over Bandari at the coast while Posta Rangers beat AFC Leopards 2-0.
