Chemelil Sugar FC has beaten their fellow cane millers Sony Sugar FC 2-1 in the KPL U-20 match played this Saturday at the Camp Toyoyo.

Chemelil got their goals from Emmanuel Muchesia and Clifford Omondi in an entertaining match that saw their goals coming from both halves.

Sony Sugar started on the high note with neat exchanges inside the Chemelil half with Ibrahim Mohammed missing a clear chance inside the first fifteen minutes.

Chemelil however quickly settled in the game and few minutes later Clifford Omondi out of nowhere slammed the ball in net to the opener.

Sony tried to absorb pressure  with Ibrahim Mohammed shot again missing the goal mouth by inches after collecting a nice pass outside the area from Stephen Omondi.

His miss was punished minutes later when Emmanuel Muchesia doubled the advantage with a powerful shot inside the 18-yard box.

Sony awakened up with Mohammed tempo proving hard to contain for the Chemelil defence, rattling the upright twice missing an equalizer.

Their efforts were rewarded in the final minutes when second half subsitute Felix Ochieng  plotted the ball at the back of the net with a powerful volley for the South Nyanza based side.
