Thika United v KCB (Thika County Stadium, 3pm)
They have lost their last four matches, the most recent a 4-0
hammering on the hands of Tusker, and must pull up from their go
performance to dispatched an unpredictable bankers side.
“We just need to execute our play, hold on to the ball, and put in the
passes. We have had a bad patch, but this team is capable of holding
its own against the best in the league and we will be looking forward
to fighting for a win in front of our home fans,” Thika coach Tim
Byrett said.
Worry for Thika will be the KCB’s talismanic forward Mungai Kiongera has found his scoring boots on the past fee matches. He could make all the difference in this intriguing looking match up.
Western Stima vs Sony Sugar FC (Moi Stadium, 3pm)
Sony Sugar will be playing without their coach Zedekiah Odhiambo, who
was shown the door for poor performance, and replaced by his assistant
Salim Babu on an interim basis.
The sugar millers have been on free fall this season managing just two
points from 10 matches before collecting all three last weekend at
home to AFC Leopards.
Stima are unbeaten against Sony over the last two seasons. They edged
out Sony 1-0 in Awendo in their first leg encounter and grabbed four
points from them last year.

Chemelil Sugar vs Muhoroni Youth (Moi Stadium, 3pm)
Muhoroni Youth are firing on all cylinders. They are unbeaten this
leg and are banking on the double victory after picking up the
prizeless win against Ulinzi Stars (2-1) and Bandari (1-0).
Club captain Abbas Akinyemi lead scorer chart , but Wycliffe Ochomo
has come into the picture with great. display in almost every match
he has played in since joining Muhoroni in the July transfer period.
With the current form Muhoroni have it, and are capable of upsetting
Chemelil Sugar FC.
Ulinzi Stars vs Nakuru All Stars (Afraha Stadium, 1.30pm)
Ulinzi coach Robert Matano will have given his team a real verbal
lashing for missing numerous chance against Muhoroni and a golden chance to
close down on league leaders Gor Mahia, who are currently competing at
the Cecafa Club Championship.
Ulinzi are still smarting from their shock 2-1 loss to Muhoroni youth
last weekend.
With the likes of club top scorer John Makwata, Kevin Amwayi, Oscar
Wamalwa and Stephen Ocholla, the Kenya Defence Forces side, you feel,
will have too much firepower for gun down Nakuru, who have won just
once in 19 outings.

Sofapaka vs City Stars (Kenyatta Stadium, 3pm)
Sofapaka may have bounced back from their recent drop in form with a
morale-boosting win away to Bandari last weekend, but they will be
wary of City Stars.
The Kawangware-based outfit held a considerably stronger Sofapaka side
to a barren draw in their first leg tie on May 2. City Stars will feel
capable of picking more points from a Sofapaka team that has lost
several top players during the June transfer period, notably club
leading scorers Aboud Fiston and Enoch Agwanda.
Sofapaka are expected to have it easy, comparing their league ranking
but one cannot rule out city stars. This is hard to call.
AFC Leopards vs Bandari (Nyayo Stadium, 5pm)
Ingwe coach Zdravko Logarusic, who failed to travel with the team to
Awendo for their midweek match, is expected back at the dugout.
AFC Leopards will be seeking revenge against Bandari who beat them
1-0 in their first leg fixture.
The match was originally scheduled for Kasarani Stadium on Sunday but
was shifted owing to the unavailability of the venue.
