Kenya’s Harambee Stars remain Stuck as weekend opponents drops in the latest FIFA rankings that were released on Thursday 3 September, remaining at number 116 in the world.

This is the position they have held for three month runing, a move attributed to their one all draw with Congo in the 2017 AFCON qualifiers as well as their barren draw with Ethiopia in the return leg of the CHAN qualifier. Zambia, who the Stars face next have moved a step down from last months’ position 73 to 74 in the latest ranking. Boby Williamson’s men are only ranked above Guinea Bissau who are placed 142 in the rankings.
Africa
Algeria,is the best ranked African nation ranked 19th globally and closely followed by Ivory Coast who are ranked 21st in the latest charts.

East Africa
Rwanda are the best East African movers, from position 91 to 78 and neighbors Uganda moves three places up from their position 74 last month to position 71 while Tanzania stagnates at 140th.
Argentina
Argentina remain the number 1 team globally,followed by Germany who replaced Belgium in second. Chile, who beat Argentina in the final of the Copa America last month, moved back into the top 10 at the expense of Holland, who fell seven places to 12th.
