Layle Lakay completed his medical at Mamelodi Sundowns and the Brazilians announcement of the 26 year old signing is expected to be imminent.

All indications are that he will be added to  Pitso Mosimane .The player is expected to  put pen to paper on a three year deal

The Brazilians have already welcomed Tnni Silva,Andile Jali and Jose Ali Meza to the club with Lakay set to be the latest addition to the star studded squad.

The Cape Town City player has been heavily linked with an exit from the Citizens in recent months,with both Mamelodi Sundowns and Bidvest Wits wanting to bring him on board.

According to sources close to Mamelodi Sundowns camp the deal concluded before the end of this week,it remains to be seen whether Lakay will be part of Pitso Mosimane Caf Champion League squad when they travel to Togo to face AS Togo-Port on Tuesday 17 July at the Stade General Eyadema Stadium in the Togolese capital of Lome
