The Ever exciting international champions cup that features world’s most renowned clubs will get a surprise guests in English Premier League run away leaders Leicester.
Leicester will begin their maiden quest for honour with the priviledge to play the opening clash against Scotland back to back champions Celtic at the latter’s backyard, the Celtic Park in Glasgow. The match will be played on 23rd July.
French giants and money bags Paris Saint Germain will next play Italian giants Inter Milan in Autzen stadium in Eugene, Oregon
Ohio stadium in Columbus, Ohio will host the third explosive match between Spanish giants Real Madrid against Paris Saint Germain the same day German champions Bayern Munich taking on AC Milan at the Soldier field stadium in Chicago, Illinois.
Also on the same day there will be an English derby between Liverpool and Chelsea at the Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena, California.
The last match will be on 13th August pitting Spanish giants Barcelona against Celtic with the venue of the match not yet named though it will be in unnamed European country
The ten team tournament will also include Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid, French giants and champions Paris Saint Germain, Italian giants AC Milan and Inter Milan together with another English duo of Liverpool and Chelsea. Also in is Celtic of Scotland.
This tournament is a special one for both Leicester and Celtic who both will grace it for the first time. Several of the world’s top players are expected to grace the tournament and it’s expected to be tough considering that the ten participating teams have won a total of 190 domestic league titles, 246 domestic cup titles and 36 UEFA champions league titles.
The 10 teams are: Celtic, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Leicester City and Chelsea. Matches will be played in stadia throughout North America and Europe.
