Leicester City have reportedly agreed a deal in principle to land Kelechi Iheanacho from Manchester City.

Skysport have reported that a £25million deal is thought to be close with Leicester to make the switch to King Power Stadium this week.

The 20-year-old Nigerian international arrival will see the Foxes put club record signing Islam Slimani up for sale after a dissapointing season.

City sailed  competition for Iheanacho from other clubs, including Premier League rivals West Ham and his move will see Craig Shakespeare owned side lessen the burden on England forward Jamie Vardy.

Iheanacho has scored 21 goals in 64 games in all competitions since making his debut for Man City in 2015. Last August, he signed a new contract until 2021, but has seen his playing time limited by the January arrival of Brazil forward Gabriel Jesus.
