Lesotho coach Seephephe Matete has warned Ethiopia Walia Ibex not to underrate them or else the Likuena’s will sting them in Barhardir where over 60,000 Ethiopian fans are expected to travel to watch their beloved Walia play in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Lesotho were in fine form in the 2015 Afcon qualifiers they knocked out star studded Harambee Stars of Kenya led by Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama a loss that led to the sacking of coach Adel Amrouche they beathink Kenya 1-0 home and drew against them 1-1 in Nairobi.
Lesotho also drubbed Liberia 2-0 but were later themselves eliminated. However Matete believes he has a squad which can deliver on Sunday
“We know it will not be an easy game playing with Ethiopia who are a very good side however we should not be underrated or else we will suprise them”Matete told Soka25east.com
“I have players who can deliver anywhere as long as they play as a unit we want the three points away “he added.
Lesotho have never qualified for Afcon but are determined to break the jinx despite recent political disturbances in the country.
Bushy Moletsane is the player expected to provide the flair with his swift runs and composure an aspect that has really helped Likuena.
