Cape Verde and Lesotho will do battle for a place at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations when they lock horns at the Estádio Nacional de Cabo Verde in Praia on Sunday.
The two nations are separated by a single point in Group L heading into the final round of group stage qualifiers this weekend, and victory for Lesotho will be enough to book their place at a first AFCON tournament in their history.
Uganda have already confirmed their spot at this year’s showpiece in Egypt, and will be joined by either Lesotho, Cape Verde or Tanzania at the tournament with the latter playing host to the Cranes in Dar Es Salaam at the same time.
Lesotho are locked on five points with Tanzania, but sit above their rivals due to a superior head-to-head record.
The Blue Sharks sit a point back, but will confirm their ticket to Egypt if Tanzania fail to beat Uganda and they are able to beat the Crocodiles.
Cape Verde have featured in two of the last three AFCON tournaments.
Lesotho were held to a 1-1 draw by the island nation in the reverse fixture last year.
