Libya’s Al ittihad thrush Sonidep of Niger in CAF Confederation

Tripoli hailing Al ittihad embarks their 2016 CAF Confederation Cup campaign with a 4-1 thrushing of Sonidep of Niger,match played in Tunisia.

BBC reports that Ittihad were forced to play their home game in Tunisia because of wars in Libya.

The hosts Ittihad went to the halftime break with a 1-0 lead before the visitors levelled the scores after the recess.They then regained their lead and struck twice to seal a resounding victory ahead of the second leg in two weeks time.
