Senegal star Sadio Mane is set to be offered a new improved deal by Liverpool that will keep him at the club for the rest of his career.

The forward has been a subject of interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid who have made him a top priority in the summer.

But According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool want Mane to end his career with the club, and are set to extend his deal. 

The Merseyside club are eager to ward off Real Madrid in order to secure Sadio Mane’s services as they prepare to offer the forward a new deal.

The African Footballer of the Year has been in devastating form for the reds this season having been part of Jurgen Klopp’s FIFA Club World cup  and European Champion winning team.

Sadio Mane signed an extension in 2018 that runs until 2023 and a new deal would see him tied to the club until the end of his career.

The Senegalese has scored 77 goals and amassed 34 assists in 161 games for the Liverpool winning the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA club World Cup along the way.

Mane will be hoping to add a Premier League title when football resumes with Liverpool only needing two wins in nine games to secure the trophy.
