Lobi Stars head coach, Solomon Ogbeide is upbeat on his teams chances of reaching the CAF Champions League group stages despite a 3-1 deficit to Kenya’s Gor Mahia from the 1st leg.
Ogbeide insists that the tie is not over and is promising that the team will leave no stone unturned in the 2nd leg when both side clash again.
“It’s not yet over, we are going to go back and work on our mistakes from the 1st leg and I can assure you we will leave no stone unturned ahead of the 2nd leg” Ogbeide told www.soka25east.com
Head coach Ogbeide has pointed out carelessness and lack of tactical discipline as the reason behind the team defeat in the 1st leg.
“We made so many mistakes, we were very careless in the 1st leg and I must say we lacked tactical discipline in that match. However, we will correct them ahead of this weekend’s return leg. I am sure it will be a better display than the 1st leg”.
“It’s not over yet and so I urge the fans to keep believing and to come out in their numbers to support us in the 2nd leg. We need them now”he added
