The love hate relationship between AFC Leopards and Belgian coach Luc Eymael seemed to have toned down as Soka25east.com can authoritatively report that Ingwe are in talks with the tactician to see him back at the den to try and steer the ship that has been blowing hot and cold in recent times.
Eymael is in the country and negotiations are in top gear to have him at the helm following the failure by Briton Trevor Morgan embark on coaching despite having been in the country for over a week and attending training sessions.
A close source at Ingwe alluded to the fact that sticking points had been finalized and that the only unfinished bit was to conclude the contractual obligations that will see Eymael as one of the highest paid coaches in the Kenyan premier league.
Tension has pilled in the AFC Leopards hierachy and they are looking for any stop gap measure that will see a return to winning ways to appease the fans who reached boiling point on Sunday when they caused raptures at the Nyayo Stadium as leopards were trailing Thika United 1-0 as the match was abandoned in the 83rd minute after crowd violence.
