STRUGGLE FOR THE 2015 YOUNG PLAYER OF THE YEAR IN ZAMBIA

WHERE WILL CONLYDE LUCHANGA PLAY IN 2016?

Conlyde Luchnaga is no doubt the a revelation of 2015 in Zambia and the interest the boy has attracted from different clubs is a confirmation of that.

But with time rushing towards the start of another football season it is becoming unclear where the boy who desparately want a move out of Lusaka Dynamos will be playing his football.
The award winning striker of Lusaka Dynamos had been linked to Zesco United for a long time now until recently when details emerged that the negotiations between Zesco and Lusaka Dynamos had stalled due to disagreements on the transfer fee.
According to sources within Lusaka Dynamos camp the team proposed K100,000 loan deal for two years and this has since been rejected by Zesco United who are in negotiations to bring the said amount a bit low which Lusaka Dynamos is not comfortable with.
While Zesco see this amount to be exorbitant Lusaka Dynamos see the asking price to be reasonable and this surely is because of other interests for the boy from a number of clubs win Zambia and in South Africa. Orlando Pirates is one of the club’s with interests of getting the 18 year old Luchanga.

According to close sources connected to Conlyde some Clubs that have asked for the services of the boy are Mufulira Wanderers, Green Buffaloes and Red Arrows .
Recently taking advantage of the hessiatation by Zesco United on Conlyde one of the power houses of Zambian football Power Dynamos has also inquired of the services of the 2015 Young player of the year making more choices for Lusaka Dynamos to negotiate with but sources close to the striker review that he is desparate for the move to the 2015 Champions Zesco and would not want another season at Lusaka Dynamos.
Earlier in October 2015 ,ZAMBIA Football Coaches Association (ZAFCA) vice president Lewis Shambulo had urged Super Division side Lusaka Dynamos not to entertain any bids for teenage Chipolopolo striker Conlyde Luchanga by allowing him play another season for fear of rushing the boy to clubs that may destroy his career but it is now clear that Lusaka Dynamos won’t heed to that advice as they are in a hurry to cash in on Luchanga.

But which way is the best for Luchanga as things stand?

The 2015 Faz Young Player of the Year scored 9 goals for Lusaka Dynamos who finished third from bottom in his first season in the Super League.
He later scored a goal each for Zambia in the CHAN qualifiers and at the 2015 Caf Under-23 Cup in Senegal.
