Zambia super league side Lusaka Dynamos have formally appealed to the Football Association of Zambia’s Appeals committee over the awarding of 2 points to Power Dynamos earlier this month.
According to a communique sent to FAZ and obtained by soka25east.com, Lusaka Dynamos are basing their argument on the fact that they followed all the channels needed to register a player and that Kanyinda has a valid 2017 FAZ identification card.
Power Dynamos had taken Lusaka Dynamos to the Association’s disciplinary committee over the use of Tresor Kanyinda, who they claimed was not eligible to play as he had no valid International transfer certificate (ITC) .The disciplinary committee docked a point from Lusaka Dynamos for using Kanyinda, during a Week One fixture against Power Dynamos.
The match ended 3-3 at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka on April 9 and Power lodged a complaint against Dynamos because Kanyinda did not possess a valid FIFA international transfer certificate (ITC).
The Joseph Jalasi-led disciplinary committee awarded Power three points and a 2-0 margin.
