Former Kenya Premier League side Ulinzi Stars’ striker Mark Makwatta has finally completed the move to Buildcon FC.

Makwatta has penned a two-year deal with Zambian moneybags after several days of negotiations in country’s city of Ndola. This is after his much hyped move to Europe collapsed.

Latest development has been confirmed by his manager George Bwana today morning in an interview with a section of press in Ndola.

“He (Makwatta) has joined on a two year contract. Buildcon is a great club, well managed and with great future. We as Makwatta’s managers believe that this is the right club for him at this stage. We trust that he will achieve more at this club and will greatly help Buildcon achieve their ambition of playing continental football,” Bwana told Goal.com

Makwatta now joins another Kenyan international Clifton Miheso at the newly promoted side.

He becomes the second most successive KPL top scorer to move to Zambia following Jesse Were’s move to Zesco United last year.
