Malawi Super league giants Big Bullets top hierarchy has finaly bowed to pressure and suspended two officials who were involved in a gate collection scan during last week’s Blantyre derby.
The supporters club General Secretary Mabvuto Chiwambo together with the Treasurer Bruce Tambwali were suspended after it emerged that the derby recored almost half of what their rivals Be Forward Wanderes had in the fist derby
The first derby recored K27 Million where Be Forward Wanderers were the hosts only for the return leg where Big Bullets were the hosts to record a paltry K16 million.
The players threatened to lose their standard bank Knock out quarter final match against Civo united and their remaining league matches if the officials are not suspended because they were not paid their upkeep allowances before and after the match.
They got support from Team Manager Rahim Ishmael who said unless the three are removed from office,then there will be no training.
The executive had no choice but to suspend the two pending investigations.
