By Austin Michel Kunsida,
With just a day to go to the opening of the Malawi Super League 2016 January transfer window on 14th January, one of the country’s football power Mighty Befoward Wanderers have left no stone unturned in its quest to beef up their un ticking squad by storming the transfer market in search of quality players.
Last season Wanderers did the same hunting abroad in the likes of Cameroonian international Lionell Atsu.
However, this time the Lali Lubani road outfit has taken a further step of coaxing players from other teams even before the opening of the transfer market.
Players such as Nelson Kangunje of Civo,Yamikani Chester of Tigers FC ,Enerst Tambe of the relegated Fisd Wizard, Green Harawa of Silver Strikers the central bankers are just a few that were being targeted by the Nomads.
Reliable sources have con
firmed the signing up of those players already listed down with the exception of Nelson Kangunje who is said to be headed for South Africa.
These pre-contract signings by Wanderers may incur the wrath of the football mother body (FAM) because in some way it contravenes its code of conduct governing the transfer market that stipulates clearly against any sort of player tapping outside the transfer period.
