The Malawi Top enters week 10 this weekend with a total of 7 matches on card. The matches did not take place over the last weekend as the Flames were in action against neighbours Zimbabwe Warriors losing at home 1-2 to stay last in the group.
The loss led to the sacking of Head Coach Young Chimodzi and replaced by Ernest Mtawali on an acting Capacity until August 15th when a new coach will be named.
Mtawali’s first assignment according to FAM secretary General Suzgo Nyirenda is a friendly match against Uganda during Uganda’s Independence Day celebrations.
The league however enters week 10 with league leaders and defending Champions Big Bullets entertaining Civo United in an early kick off at the Kamuzu Stadium.Azam Tigers who lost to Big Bullets in the last league match would want to redeem themselves when they take on high riding Silver Strikers at the Kalulu Stadium.
