Arsenal have reignited their interest in signing Malian International Yves Bissouma from Brighton this summer.
Bissouma has turned plenty of heads with his cultured performances at the Amex Stadium.
The 24-year old’s formidable range of passing and ability to work around a high press suggest that he has every chance of succeeding at the Emirates
Arsenal are in the hunt to boster their midfield with Bissouma as an active target though there has been interest from rivals Liverpool
Brighton CEO Paul Barber has admitted that the club’s best players will be available for the right money this summer, but it seems as though Liverpool may have been put off by Bissouma’s reported asking price.
The Seagulls are demanding £50m to part ways with their prized asset, according to Anfield Central, with the Reds wary about shelling out a significant fee to fill the gap left by Wijnaldum who arrived on a free transfer back in 2016.
It remains to be seen whether the Gunners are prepared to nip ahead of Liverpool by meeting Brighton’s demands.
