Mamelodi Sundowns have officially announced the signing of Maritzburg United attacking midfielder Lebogang Maboe.
It was reported that Masandawana had tabled an offer for the player service,coming up against Kaizer Chiefs in a race for Maboe signature.
Maritzburg United were stern in their attempts to hold onto the Bafana Bafana midfielder however,the club finally agreed to negotiate the player exit,as Maboe was adamant on taking the next big step in his professional career.
Now the club have confirmed that the player will be part of Pitso Mosimane side ahead of the club title defending season.
The 23 year old who has been with the Team of Choice since July 2016 has become one of Fadlu Davids most influential team players in the last campaign as he helped lead the side from Pietermaritzburg to their highest ever league finish and their first ever cup final after they beat Sundowns to book a spot in the Nedbank Cup final.
The announcement ends speculation about the future of the player,several PSL clubs were said to be after his signature.
