South African Club Mamelodi Sundowns Coach Pitso Mosimane is reportedly interested in Sofapaka’s Burundi international striker Fiston Abdoul Razak who previously attended a successful trial at the Club.
South African media reported the interest today in a move that would guarantee Sofapaka a huge financial windfall.
The Chloorkop based Club nicknamed the Brazilians reached the Nedbank final and just ended the league in the second position,12 points below Champions Kaizer Chief and 5 points ahead of third placed Bidvest Wits .
Coach Pitso Mosimane compares Fiston to Club top scorer Cuthbert Malajila and goes further to term the exiting fast winger as a young player good in both aerial and tactically prowess
‘It will be left to the generals to decide if they want the player’ Mosimane was quoted saying.
The striker was spotted during the CECAFA senior Challenge Cup in Nairobi after an impressive scoring spree for his National team . He was previously playing for LLB Academic of Burundi. The 25 year old player has so far scored 15 goals for the National team and has a contract with Defending Kenya Gotv Champions Sofapaka.
