Senegalese youngster Krepin Diatta believes he is “ready” to soak up pressure and play for a bigger team amid speculation linking him with Manchester United.
The 18-year-old has enjoyed a productive season at Norwegian first division side Spartborg 08 FF and as a result seen his name associated with many clubs across Europe.
One of which is Manchester United, who Diatta has previously revealed that he has spoken to United’s scouts on two previous occasions, after the U20 World Cup.
The teen now feels a move to England or France at this moment in time wouldn’t be too much of a problem though he’s yet to decide where he’ll be playing beyond the just concluded season.
“Everything is possible,” he said, as reported by GalsenFoot.com on Monday.
“Manchester City or Marseille… I am not afraid of playing for any big team.
“I know I’m ready. I’m sure of that, ”he added.
Diatta who has caught the eye of top names mainly due to his pace and skilled play, is considered to be amongst the best upcoming names in Europe.
However, Sarpsborg are clearly eager to retain the teenager, with the club having handed him a four-year contract in February. This won’t be much of a roadblock for any club that would wish to sign him, though, as financial backing would broker through any possible deal.
