According to sources Mufurila wanderers head Coach Manfred Chabinga has stepped down as coach of Mufurila Wanderers. Chabinga was given a 3 match ultimatum in which to improve the teams perfomance who had only won once in their previous 5 games.
The Coach who was absent at the game between Mufulira Wanderers and Lusaka Tigers was said not to be feeling okay and was resting at home. But a post from Wesley Mutembo, National Chairperson of the Supprters Society of Mufulira Wanderers reviewed that the experienced Coach stepped down on Saturday.
EXCO sources to Bwezani with Football have denied the story and insisted that Chabinga is still head coach of Mufurila wanderers.
Its clear the majority of the fans do not want Manfred to continue at Shinde. If by any chance he is still the man incharge he will have to work some magic and start getting positive results if he wants to keep his post.
Wanderers are Zth on the log after 6 games having only won once and drawn 4 times and losing once accumulating just 7 points.
