Maritzburg United are
reportedly targeting former Kaizer Chiefs coach Muhsin Ertugral to take over
from Fadlu Davids who has parted ways with the club this week following the
team disappointing start to the season.
According to sources at Team of choice,the club management
have spoken to Ertugral regarding the vacant role and a deal could be concluded
before this weekend.
A source told Soka25east.com the club received a number of
applications both locally and overseas.The club has targeted Muhsin
Ertugral however
The 59 year old resigned as Ajax Cape Town coach in November
following a defeat in the National First Division.
Ertugral was appointed as the head coach of Ajax in December
2017 joining the club in the middle of the 2017/18 campaign.
Unfortunately after being deducted points following the
ineligible fielding of Tendai Ndoro the Urban Warriors was relegated from South
Africa top flight.
Luc Eymael representatives have also made contact with the
club to declare interest in the vacant coaching position in the club.
