New Maroons FC

The Maroons team that will host Bul FC on Tuesday.

Maroons Football Club is yet to win a game in the Azam Uganda Premier League this season.
Out of four games played so far, the top tier returnees have only managed a point which puts them bottom of the table.
The Prisons’ side drew goalless with Simba away last Tuesday and head coach Asaph Mwebaze believes the point gave them confidence
“It was an improvement from previous ties that we had lost. We want to build on that starting with game against Bul. FC.” Mwebaze told airtel football on Monday.
Like Maroons, Bul. FC also drew their last game 0-0 against SC Villa in a performance their Coach Alex Isabirye described as their worst so far in the campaign.
Before the Villa game, the easterners had drawn once lost twice and won once in a game they hammered visitors Lweza FC 4-1.

BUL FC PRAYING

Alex Isabirye (in black suit) and his players will rely prayers to leave Luzira Grounds with maximum points.

The two sides have only met twice in the league and this was in the season of 2011/ 12 the season in which BUL made its maiden appearance in Uganda’s top tier league.
BUL beat Maroons 0-1 in Luzira before the prison boys revenged in the return fixture with a 0-1 win in Kakindu.

BUL Coach Alex Isabirye: says, “We feel confident but we must respect Maroons. I can say they have achieved by playing beautiful football and we are away from home’’. He adds,

“Maroons are very strong in attacking though not clinical enough and have brilliant players who are very clever at using space. They will be with a high spirit to fight on so if we want to win, we will have to play so well.”
BUL will be without injured Herbert Herbert Odipio (Ankle), Simon Okwil (Malaria), and Umar Mukobe (Hamstring) for their visit to Maroons but welcomes back Augustine Nsumba, James Kasibante and Derrick Walulya who missed the away game at their former side SC Villa Jogoo.
There is no news of injury or suspensions for Maroons so far.
Patrick Kaddu, Maxwell Okello, Hood Muliki and U-17 international Pius Obuya will be key for the hosts while the visitors who sit 13th on the 16 team table will look to Milton Kaliisa, James Kasibante and Hashim Sempala for inspiration.
