Gor Mahia Vs AFC Leopards, Sunday, August 23,2015
AFC Leopards Coach Zdravko Logarusic resurfaced last weekend after taking a French leave in protest over unpaid salary.
Yes the King of Derby is back for the biggest rivalry of the region and he believes his charges should not be written off against much fancied Gor Mahia on Sunday.
“Let’s accept it, Gor are having a great season, they are too strong for most of the SPL teams, but if I was to be asked if they will win the derby, I highly doubt,” Loga told Soka25east.com
K’Ogalo has enjoyed a superb season and are still unbeaten in the league after 22 matches, a complete opposite of Ingwe who are yet to get their rhythm, after mass departure of players in the June transfer window.
“Derby has it’s own pressures, it can go either way, but do not be surprised if Ingwe comes out on top. We may just be the team to end the unbeaten run.” He added.
Leopards hold head to head advantage over their in laws, with 27 wins, five more than Gor’s. K’Ogalo are winless in the derby since 2013 when the current Leopards Coach Loga was on their side.
