Mauritania coach Corentin Martins announced their 23-man squad ahead of the African Cup of Nations, set to take place in Egypt between June 21 and July 21.
Mauritania were drawn in a relatively tough group along with Tunisia, Mali and Angola. They start their journey on June 24 against Mali in the Suez stadium.
The squad saw the inclusion of AJ Auxerre defender Abdul Ba as well as Valladolid’s El Hacen El Id.
A standby squad which included seven players, was also released.
