In a bid to maintain his fitness, FC Throttur and Uganda Cranes midfielder Tonny Mawejje has started training with Azam Uganda Premier top side Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club,KCCA.

Mawejje, on holiday after conclusion of Iceland topflight last month has started training with the reigning Ugandan champions, at the Phillip Omondi stadium.

Uganda Cranes will in November play a friendly match with Zambia and later Congo Brazzaville in World Cup qualifiers at Namboole stadium -a major reason the highly rated midfielder trying to keep top form.

It’s also rumiref Mawejje will be amongst players to represent Uganda in this year’s CECAFA Challenge cup in Kenya, as coach Micho fine tunes his squad ahead of the January Gabon 2017 AFCON.

Another Uganda Cranes midfielder Geoffrey “Baba” Kizito who turns out for Vietnam side Than Quang Nihn is also training with Vipers SC for similar reasons. He played for Vipers in a friendly against Nkumba University early this week in which he scored.
