Zambian striker Emmanuel Mayuka has made his Zamalek full debut in a 1-0 loss to Ismaily.
It might be too early to raise eyebrows but the former Southampton player failed to sparkle and impress the White Knights fans on his maiden appearance.
Mayuka was replaced by 2014-15 Zamalek top scorer Barsem Morsy in the second half.
Since the return of Coach Mido, the White Knights were yet to taste defeat until today.
A first half strike by Islam Gemal who is on loan from Zamelek to Ismaily was enough to spoil Mayuka’s debut.
The visitors ended the game with one man down after Koffi was sent off in the second half.
