Mbuyu Junior Twite for the second time has prolonged his stay at Tanzania’s champions Yanga SC.

32 years old Twite on Tuesday at Yanga’s Headquarters,Dar es Salaam inked further two years on his contract that will keep him with the 24 times league winners till 2017/18 season.

The DRC/Rwanda national previously penned a one year extension in 2014 which elapsed this month.

Twite formerly a defender with St. Eloi Lupopo and APR FC, joined Yanga in 2012 and has never slowed down since. He’s been a strong pillar at the heart of the Coach Hans Van De Pluijm’s side defense.

He boasts three league medals – including the lastest 2015/16 season triumph; Tanzania Cup and CECAFA Kagame Cup crowns each.

Yanga who qualified for the CAF Confederations Cup group phase are strengthening their squad, and have so far signed defender Vincent Andrew “Dante” from Mtibwa Sugar.

In other news, Yanga have let go Niger international Issoufou Boubacar Garba.

The 26 years old midfielder crossed over to Yanga from Tunisian side ES Hammam Sousse in 2012.
