Tanzania international Mbwana Samatta came on a substitute in the 79th minute and scored the third goal two minutes later for his side Racing Genk, in a Belgian league match against Club Brugge on Saturday 28.
Genk won the match 3-2 to move to fifth on the 16-team league log with 45 points, 13 off Brugge who are the leaders.
Thomas Muenier put Brugge in the lead, but Karelis equalized for the home side before Thomas Buffel put Genk ahead the for the first time in the match.
Samatta then came on in the 79th minute as a substitute, and the former TP Mazembe trusted assassin, did not waste time, taking just two minutes before putting his name on the scoresheet, stretching the game beyond Brugge’s reach.
Hans Vanakan pulled one back for the visitors, but the game was already well secured.
