Kenya international and former Gor Mahia FC striker Michael Olunga opened scoring for his new Sweden side Djugarden in a 2-2 draw with Elsfborg.
The friendly match was played on Friday evening at Boras Arena.
Olunga scored in the 15th minute before Hedlund Simon equalized – Jesper Kelstoem made it 2-1 up for Djugarden heading into the breather.
The visitors were however unable to hold on to the lead as they succumbed to Victor Prodelli leveller in the second half.
An elated Olunga had this to say after the match;
“Another goal for me confirms that I am ready to play here. It was a good match that I kept pressing hard and we are unlucky that we couldn’t hold onto the lead despite going ahead twice.”
